Let me make a complete run though this weekend.  If I can get it done sooner, I will.  I'll poste when done.  Then it will be in tip top shape for anyone coming.

Would only help on a couple of stages.  Maybe.

Is that how you solve so many puzzles?  Not prying into any of your habits or anything, just curious.

No that's how people solve MY puzzles. The preferred method anyway... :notme:

My BFF has done this already, but Ive been wanting to go after this forever. I'm definitely in on this deal. Plus, I've lined up the bucket truck and required tool rentals w Pinkys. At least he said he was Pinkys...though he did talk awfully fast and kept asking of I was interested in a watch or a bridge in London. Hmmmm.

I checked all the stages of this today. Everything is in good order except for the second stage. Something is prying or scratching the plate. Not sure if it's a person or animal but the stage is still doable. If anybody has a problem he can text me or call me on my cell phone which is on the HGCS phone a friend list.

Everything else is in good order and I even dropped a travel bug in the final.

Does anyone know of a good site or have a list of items that should be mandatory for a cache backpack?  As we get more adventurous with the girls I would like to have a bag of first aid items and other things we might need along the way.

Hopefully the collective experience of the group will tell me about things I will need before I need them!

CHL not necessary. Doesn't hurt to be prepared. Just be cautions common sense and you'll be fine. I've been caching for 10yrs haven't needed one yet but have wished to have one on several occasions.

I use my phone or big camera to take pictures/video of under railings and hidey holes that I can't see or blindly reach under.

Then review the pictures. The flash on the camera really lights up those dark areas.

There are Black Widows in dark places and Snakes that live in holes in trees...

This is a really great tip with using phones to take pictures to see around areas you can't see!

I'll start doing this for sure...as long as my phone doesn't end up falling into a river/ditch  :blackeye:

Btw: this reminds me to look into water-proof iPhone cases! After being in a downpour for an hr my phone didn't work for 4 hrs...then suddenly worked, (evaporation?), again. I can't always be so lucky  ^_^

Placing no longer functioning wet electronics in a bag full of rice for a couple of days will work to revive it most of the time.

Your milage may vary if your device took a drink in salt water.

You can move this to My Drive (Google Drive) and access it on your smartphone.
