Woodmen of the World

Maybe while geocaching in a Cemetery you may have come across a Woodmen of the World grave marker often looking like a log of a tree. I just happen to have been watching a movie called about Schmidt and as it turns out he was an assistant vice president of Woodmen Insurance Company which is part of Woodmen of the World. Just thought I would pass that along.

I've encountered quite a few of those over the years and as I recall there was even a locationless cache that pertained to locating a WoW marker.  Interesting story behind them - I'll have to watch for that movie.

If I recall there was one such marker in one of the Robertson County Cemeteries. ("Ghost of Robertson County Series") You discover some interesting things in Cemeteries if you're paying attention. An poke around a little.
