Could it have been a geocache?

Saw this article...

It looks like it could have been geocahce that has been discovered by muggles.

It also could be archived due to muggles...

 

Just a thought on a slow day at work........

My first guess would be a very cool cache but it is pretty muggle-rific. Either way, it is a very cool idea. Whoever made it did a great job on the varnish coat.

I might be able to check it out as by daughter lives in SF. There are some mystery caches nearby.

Probably a Gnome or Fairy door.  They are pretty popular in the NW especially near Seattle.

Now there is a cool idea for a Geocache! Wouldn't it be totally awesome if you'd go out to GBP or some other park, wander off into the woods, get near GZ and discover this in the base of a tree..... I would start questioning myself right away!

 

I'll keep it in mind though, might be a great idea for my next cache.... now I just need to find a suitable tree  :P

There is a multistage puzzle nearby that hasn't yet had FTF that was put out about the same time.  I wonder if there is a connection.
