But Wait! There's more!

All folks in attendance at the 58th PnG will receive bonus instruction on the secret BFF Caching Buddy handshake by non other than Lady Katherine DeBerg (She finds it quite vexing, and she's quite put out!) or 2katz.

There's still room for ya! You know you want to. Yes, it's worth the drive, navigating the Houston 500, even.

Most events use the honor system, they won't check even if you ask them twice.

A big thanks to everyone who showed up tonite. Although we didn't quite make MEGA status as we anticipated, we sure did come close!    More than anything, I think everyone had a great time visiting, swapping stories and bugs. We even had a few newbies show up who fit right in with the masses and even want to host an event now. How's that for feeling welcome?!

Again, thank you from 2katz and KeyResults!!!!

Not saying the NW side is competitive or anything but Log Dawgs' Photo above is 30 secs after full room cleared for FTF on nearby new one. (Texas Writer still beat em all to it!)

Ha ha!  I truly wished I could have attended.  Today is 18 straight 12 hour days and I got here at 0355.  I am geocaching vicariously through my friends and now I see Kirbydox has lost a bunch of containers and has to go look for them!  Maybe I'll mosey down that way after work!

You know, Bert, the API's Recommended Practice #755 covering Fatigue Risk Management for Personnel in the Refining and Petrochemical Industries -- that came out following the BP Texas City disaster -- states that for workers on 12-hour shifts under Normal Operations -- "Work sets shall not exceed 7 consecutive day or night shifts".   For Outages, "Work sets shall not exceed 14 consecutive day or night shifts".

"For any exceptions to these mandatory requirements, an established management exception process shall be initiated.  The exception process shall involve the employee's immediate supervisor and one other management representative.  The process shall include a documented risk assessment and mitigation plan."

I'm just looking out for your well being, buddy!  Of course, this comes from the AMERICAN Petroleum Institute... and you work for a French company!  ::)

In which case the north side holds nothing on the west side.  Everybody took the time to push their chairs back in.  West side chairs would have gone flying every which way.  Just saying.

We had a good time at Mardi Tines.  I was telling Key Results that it took me almost until the time of the event to figure out that tines was for Valentines and not a misspelling of times.
