Go to your map and check out the new series/geo-art over NASA.

Dust off your puzzle-solving skills and have at it.

Nicely done. Thanks, Donna and Kevin!

Ineed a truly AWESOME series, already solved quite a few! It's not just the geo-art that took some work, the caches themselves have great detail to them as well.

We're not gonna go out there today 'though, I bet it's gonna be crawlin' with FTF-hunters :dig:....

LOADS of thunbs up to the CO!

I saw the series come out, and I worked on a few of them, but didn't realize it was GEO-ART. Nice Shuttle.

I was working through some of the new puzzles in this series and

did some research on the Jetsons. Who knew they had an episode

called "Space Bong" in 1985? Not saying I knew what a bong was in 1985,

just saying...

At the moment it appears there are still 6 FTF opportunities!

Don't be afraid to look at these and try them just because they're puzzles.

I've been solving puzzles, but #7 isn't working for me. If anyone has solved it, a hint on what to do with a song that isn't on the list?

We were going to go today with the Pindroppers but at breakfast older wiser heads prevailed and we decided to wait till later. The chances for FTF were all gone anyway. We had fun with the puzzles, however, we are still stuck on #23 Space Invaders. A few of the others were pretty hard on us but still fun.

The Shuttle geoart was Cachestacker’s brilliant idea. He did a great job laying out the caches in the shape of a shuttle. For those who have no idea what it is like to do a large series, it’s a lot of work. When you do a large series of mystery caches you can triple that work. :blink: CS suckered me into helping invited me to help with the series. It was fun but difficult to come up with 32 different spaced themed puzzles. We spent two or three weeks just bouncing ideas around and developing the puzzles. I really enjoyed researching the ideas and hope y'all do too.

The puzzles were not meant to be difficult. Read the cache pages. The vital puzzle info is in larger green type on each of the pages. Almost all have a RELATED WEB PAGE from which the info was taken for the puzzles.

Some tips to remember:

Open up the related web page in a different window and next to the puzzle page.

Look for lists. You don’t always need to have 0-9 items in order to get numbers. You might only see 5 or 6 things in the list.

Keep in mind what the original coordinates are - your final coords must be within two miles.

A race is just that - who comes in which place (first, second, third...) {STS #29}

Saturn is...well, Saturn. {STS #17}

We did not use any red herrings, twists or devious methods of encryption.

Don’t overthink things.

If you don't know where to start try my personal favorite, STS #6 - Dark Matter. :D

If you have ANY questions or need help contact either Cachestacker or myself. We are ALWAYS willing to help if you get stuck.

I am definitely not a fan of puzzles, but this series just might change my mind. It has been fantastic to work thru, Even I could do it !!! Am still frustrated with not getting #8, but the rest are on my 'done' list. I really enjoyed looking at the additional info pages provided - lots of OHhhhhssss and AHHhhhhhsss and WOWs! I highly recommend it - and the bonus is getting TREA's 'month of puzzles' cache up in Kingwood.

#8 seems to be a sticking point for a few of you. Keep at it a bit. At some point you'll go "Shazam!" And, well, that may help you. ;)

I see one of the problems everyone is having with STS #8 - Rock On. For the song "A Spaceman Came Traveling" I used the release date of the singles version, not the album. Maybe this will help. :)
