What do you think about creating a new FTFC award for 2013? No room for plaques anymore on the old FTFC cache, but we can create a new FTFC trophy. I have a woodstump I stole from a *park* and have been thinking what I could use it for...oh for about a year now.

Just need someone who knows how to do art work with a chain saw....

Why not replace the old FTFC trophy with it. Use the same TB number since it is Lost Guys and they dont really cache anymore that is good so it stays with the original TB and owner

We need the trophy actually come out if we want to change it. I was thinking we could send the original trophy, with all of the names on it (updated of course) to Grounspeak so they could have it in their TB collection. We could then start another trophy. In any case, we need the current one out in the wild again. It's been 2 months and the current holder has been not that responsive....

Best idea yet.

IMHO, I think we should keep the FTFC trophy in Houston and let it travel around to area events.

One reason I say this is because Groundspeak does not support these types of TBs/cache placements. :tickedoff:

Actually the TB belongs to someone along with the top of the current FTF trophy.

Yes - I would never do anything to the trophy without agreement from the owner(s). We probably do need to add another layer to the trophy (like the Stanley Cup) so we can keep adding names to it.

I can offer some help there. The current top was made by me after we found it with the original top broken. I have in our collection some really nice hardwood that is thick and if we can help add a layer, let me know.

I checked with the owner before the new top was made and they said it was quite OK to do that and were amazed the trophy was still in circulation.
