We are ready ....

Any guess on a finish time?

Can we average 2 MPH

Never mind I read the previous posts .... the guesses seem to be 6 to 10 hours ...

6 hours and 33 minutes

We took 7.5 hours which included a break for lunch, D. B. Cooper, and getting lost.  I predict you will be at the cars by 3:30 pm.

I suppose you will average less than 2 MPH.  I reset the trip data on my second go round and the average speed was around 3MPH.  That was with all of us trying to keep our speed at 4mph or so.  But we stopped for lunch, and trying to cross the rivers without getting wet (note to self: next time, use the Muddy Buddy technique), and having lunch, and climbing archery stands, and... uh, caching.

You'll have a lot of fun, and moreso if you don't sweat the speed (or lack thereof).

I wish I were going.  :'(

I think that he is talking about the trash bags that Stan put on his feet rather than taking hiking boots and socks off to cross the creek.  mtp has taken pictures and posted them.  He and mbrownjer got a kick out of his creek crossing technique.

The trailhead is directly across form the parking coords.  If I wasn't thinking of caching out that way after the hike I'd say we should carpool.  See you there tomorrow Mustard Devil.

I think that is the way we went.  It is a little tricky getting to the parking area as I don't think there are any signs.
