They won't make'em and send them until they reach a goal of 50 tshirts sold. Since I want one, this means I have to pimp it out for them. Go get yours today! :peace:

I ordered an Army Mom shirt from them and it is a good quality Hanes t shirt. Not one of the heavyweight ones.

I placed my order! If memory serves, these sizes run small. I had to get a 30XXXXL. ;-)

But.... I'm not a nerd.

Me either but I find my son and myself at Quakecon most every year along with 3000 other non nerds.

My son and I's spots one year. I usually ran a linux box running game servers and file sharing (DC++) while my son played for days at a time. I could usually make 36-40 hrs straight (hell to be in my 50's), but he usually does 3 days straight, then we go home and crash for 2 days.

And yes we did consume "mass quantities" of BAWLS, even bring our own cooler

BUT I AM NOT A NERD  LOL

I did Quakecon for a few years back in the day. I was at the premier/teaser for Doom3. I was an early consumer of Bawls. Pretty much bought a case from the back of the guy's vehicle when he was first getting started.

In fact speaking of shirts... Here is me back in 2003 at the very first geocaching event I attended sporting my Doom3 shirt which I freely obtained at Quakecon.

One definition of nerd (from the Merriam Webster Online dictionary) is:  a person who is very interested in technical subjects, computers, etc.

I think that means that every obsessed avid geocacher qualifies as a nerd.

Some also suggest that nerds are people who are unabashedly enthusiastic about certain interests that may not be the social norm.

GASTX you're my hero. That's a sweet PC.

By todays standards that is a lead weight (old dual Xeon), It mostly just runs in the corner as a media server now. My current PC's would kill that thing with just 1 core running. I spend way to much on PC builds.

Didnt mean to hijack your thread, But I can see we need a PC / Gamer forum topic to talk over Qcon, Doom, Hexen, Duke Nukem, Quake 1, 2, 3 and 4. All of the best FPS games.
