Found this site and notice quite a few familiar names! We (wife &I) started this fun and addictive game the end of September, we're hooked!

Sweet! Welcome aboard. Splendora huh? Well, you a wee farther north than many on the board but you've got an abundance of folks not too far from you.

Be sure to subscribe to the Ground Speak newsletter, premium membership recommended, tell em your location, and they'll keep you up on the upcoming events nearest you. If you guys can swing it, come on down to some events and meet face to face. Good stuff.

Glad to have you on. See you at an event soon, and in the logs for sure!

Why am I all sweatty and late? Umm...

Welcome aboard.  I want to warn you.  There's a couple people on this forum that are obsessed with the game.  Avoid them to keep your sanity.

Thanks, y'all.

We've been to 2 events so far. Went to Robin 1's event in The Woodlands in January, and the Northeast Houston event in Atascocita a couple of weeks ago. We've been premium members since about a week into caching and have been sort of busy since we started 9/29/13, will hit 1200 finds this week.

Hi Russ!  Good to see you on here.  This is the place to keep up with the goings on in the Houston area.

I haven't really met HC yet, but he seems like a good dude based on the email conversations we've had in the past. Now BB on the other hand, my momma told me to watch out for any hombre with bad dental work that looked like his...

Everyone who has responded and has been mentioned above is someone you should be cautious of. They're prone to driving over everything with their vehicle, paddling kayaks in the middle of the Polar Vortex, tromping through the woods when everyone is holed up in their homes like it's the Zombie Apocalypse, making videos of themselves wearing strange things, ..... I think I'll stop there before I really start airing their dirty laundry. I'm the only sane one in the bunch, so feel free to contact me if I can help in any way. Unless you just like filtering through the crazed ramblings of the people above... :)

My wife and I have seen y'all in logs (online and paper ones). We've been in front of you on some, behind you on others. We just spent last weekend on the Lone Star Trail, so we signed behind you on a bunch of those.

Glad to see you found this resource. If nothing else, it's good for a laugh. :)

Hey.  It was only a Polar Vortex for Baytown Bert.  It was 78 degrees!

But if you're interested in paddle caching, check out the CLAPS 2014 Spring Paddle CITO http://coord.info/GC4XPAF

Oh, thank you for reminding me to warn Russ about you. Well, pretty much anyone from the Beaumont area. Where else in TX do you see guys get arrested for carrying in an AK-47 in a banana costume....?

Wait, you've been caching since 2001. Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't this autmatically make you head COTL (Chief of the Lunatics)?
