Wind or no, rain or shine;a day in the Yak will be devine! Pause, I will, for t-storms and lightning;Far too dangerous, and frightening! Nasty will pass, so we can pick up trash;Twixt the gators, while grabbing a cache!

Nasty will pass? That's right Bert will be there :)

I'll be there in my underwear!  The wind is only a problem in one direction!  (I don't wear underwear)

I figure the winds will pick up as the day goes on.  I'll hit the water early and go south.  That's where most of the trash is anyway (and ALL the caches I still need to find).  Then the wind can blow me back to the dock!

I figure with the wind and all, we can let Green-eyed stand at the launch site and one-arm all the trash.

My one -legged girlfriend had a cool sense of humor and changed her name to Eileen. The line of good taste is far behind us by now

Im surrounded by hosers >:D

You misspelled "losers"

The origin of the term is unclear. The Oxford English Dictionary records the first use in writing as being a 1981 Toronto Star article about the McKenzie brothers, and there is no clear evidence that the term was in use before then. Nonetheless, the term has spawned several popular false etymologies.[3]

The most popular origin story holds that in outdoor ice hockey before ice resurfacers, the losing team in a hockey game would have to hose down the rink after a game to make the ice smooth again. Thus the term "hoser" being synonymous with "loser". Another story hold that the term referred to farmers of the Canadian prairies, who would siphon gasoline from farming vehicles with a hose during the Great Depression of the 1930s.[3]

"Hoser" was a derogatory term popular in the Toronto suburb of Downsview during the 1970s and 1980s. It is a variation of "hose bag." Moranis grew up in this area, and would have been familiar with the common teenage slang at the time.[citation needed]

Well, whether you are a hoser, loser, or other, looks good for all of us to head to Hosepen Bayou as they've all been checked by the CO and good go go.  Someone remember to bring a pen!

Looks like I may have an open seat.  However, the only extra PFD is my wife's and she's not very big, so anyone looking for a ride will probably need to scrounge their own PFD.

FWIW, I'm planning to work south of the launch area.
