It'll be about an hour's drive for us so I'm guessing we'll be at GZ around 10am-10:30am depending on how many times I get lost. ;-)

You mean: how many caches I'll end up finding before I get there?!?

I'll talk to Mrs. D. about this one, last time she wasn't too fond of driving all the way to Baytown.

Oops. I guess I can't lie to fellow geocachers. LOL

10-10:30 at GZ... I'm bringing a magnetic key holder that we're painting a rust color tonight. Now if someone can bring a video camera and a first aid kit we should be good to go. ;-)

Hans - it's worth it.

First aid kit ain't gonna help if you need something...  Parachute, maybe.

The best thing i can think of is to have 4 people stationed at the bottom of the ladder, each holding a corner of a blanket.

Have fun guys!

I'm considering still coming on the same day but after work...

(at least I know I'm looking for a rust colored key-holder)

"Parking" is possible along the main road close to the bridge...... it's a little off-road-ish but MD managed with his Honda Hybrid ;)

If you really want to get CLOSE you'll need a 4x4.

Thats right and a big plus....the short bumpy drive actually somehow tightened two loose body panels >:D

Good deal. I have a 4x4 (use it to pull Jeeps out of ankle deep mud all the time  :stirpot:  ). Google shows a couple of different access points looks like. Was just checking on the plan for Sunday.

What fantasy world was it that you were pulling Jeeps out of mud. I want to go to that world.

I have a Z71 but I also have a 99TJ (winter project installing a 6" lift, etc) and a 2011 Rubi. The ankle deep mud I was referring to was ankle deep with your feet on the floor of the jeep :). I am a jeeper, was just trolling!!!

I drove Bizzyb's low-ridin Toyota Sienna minivan about halfway back to ground zero. Had to avoid a couple mudholes and did drag in a few places but didn't have any problems otherwise. It's really not very far from the highway anyway.

I'll try to make it by 10am. And I'll be bringing the equipment to record this one for prosperity:
