11/12/13 only comes once in a century lets celebrate it.

When: Tuesday November 12, 2013 (11/12/13) from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.
Where: Fuddrucker's at 7511 FM 1960 West, Houston, TX (coordinates provided above)

A special Audio CD, with geocaching specific music will be distributed for those that register their "will attend" prior to November 9, Friday.   The deadline is needed so that the studio can stamp the CD's in anticipation of the November 12 event.  The CD'S will also be limited to those that attend to claim their copy.  All CD's not claimed by mid event will either be drawn as a door prize or claimed by those in attendance that did NOT preregister if enough copies exist.

Thanks, Bob.  I like the idea too, but driving to Timbuktu (Willowbrook) after work on a weekday... well, let's just say the event might as well be in Mali!

I just did a Google map search for Timbuktu from the Willowbrook Mall, and it showed it to be 38 miles away....which, ironically, is the same distance to Baytown. :)

I once found a CD in a geowyz cache with CW music about Texas cities. It is one of my favorite CD's.

My favorite song on this CD is "Don't tell my wife I am out geocaching, she thinks I am at a bar"

Or some such wording.  I get a kick out of it as anyone that has a geocaching "tolerant" spouse.

Try this one, Brian - GC4R4AT - a flash mob at 8.09:10 PM on 11/12/13 for a few minutes, on NASA 1 near Repsdorph

Bump for the 8/9/10/11/12/13 events tonight, but you can celebrate this morning as well.

Meet you at GC4R4AT on NASA 1 by Repsdorph a little after 8 tonight for a very short parking lot FM.
We can leave the cars running, jump out, get a pic and get out of the wind. Quick and easy!

None of these in Baton Rouge, or even close. :( My only consolation is gumbo and red beans/rice.

Who knows? Maybe I can crash a party by video with my BFF somewhere.

In any case, have a great time!

Why am I all sweatty and late? Umm...

I think you should be able to log the event.   We saw you.   That was fun watching you look at the event.   We couldn't hear what you were saying but we could hear you laughing.  We wondered where your physical location was.
