Bert, if you'd wear long pants every now and then this whole winter thing really isn't that bad.

Heck with the cold. We just need that Norther predicted for Sat, and its 15-25 mph winds, to wait til AFTER we're done!

I can hide from the cold. I am terrible at hiding from the wind in my yak.

I was going to paddle behind all of you but I am not that good at dodging things in a yak.  :orelse:

look at all the fun I have to miss!!!  Scout-cooked dinner and troop orientation will be at 6pm, so definitely not making the paddle.  Hoping to stop by the CITO if they finish early enough to let us have an hour or two away from the troop.

Checking the hourly forecast at Weather.com -- 49° F with the wind out of the NNW at 19 when we launch.  Might feel a bit brisk out on the water!

I like Click 2 Houston's weather better.  It's warmer and doesn't mention the wind.  ;)

I just saw an ice cream truck by the boat ramp and he had the doors open trying to cool down his product.
