Because I know not everyone's event notifications go that far:  There are two unique events happening in Kemah on October 19th.

First, we're going to group hike the Kemah bridge and maybe get a smiley at the top.  Then we will shuffle around Kemah and grab a few caches before we go to the next event.

Then we'll take over the upper deck of Outriggers to see some truly dedicated cachers.  Come have some great fish tacos (or other stuff), watch the boats go by, and score some new trackable tattoo icons so you can make progress on the Trackable Human Challenge.  We may have some notable inked cachers also show up for this one.  Check the logs!  Could there even be a surprise inked person, too?  A spur of the moment inking decision before the event that nobody but that person knows about?  Come and see!  Bring your trackables to swap.

I thought we were going to climb the La Porte mineral deposits. :( What a disappointment.

The Kemah bridge is about 40 ft high http://www.mapmyrun....route-118792131
about a four story building worth of climbing. Depending on where Sandi's moving, four stories doesn't sound like much climbing, especially when you're making twenty trips climbing up and down one flight of stairs carrying furniture, boxes and whatever. Hire a porter, or a Sherpa guide for the climb.

Since you'll be otherwise occupied, we can just crash out on your boat, right? Which slip is it in again? :coolsmiley:

Phoenix Lady and hazzmer have logged will-attends, so there are two more trackable humans that will be there.  (In addition to the new ones!)

It's official.  We're going to have a couple of small door prizes at the INKredible event, and there is also going to be one really cool door prize, too!

If you're planning on coming, please log a will-attend asap so we can get management to reserve us enough room!  They need a count by next Wednesday.  (Will attends after this date are nice, but do not help us on that issue!)

We will be there with a bunch of Slaying Cancer, trackable geocoins for sale. A major portion of the sale of these is being donated to the Relay For Life by the coin owner. This is a fundraiser coin that some Beaumont cachers have going and they are supplying me with some to sell in our area.
This is a whopping 3 inch wide coin. Wait till you see it in person.
Look for us at the events.

I know that I will be at the INK event so save a chair and a beer, err I mean, a refreshing drink for me O0 .  Thinking on the climb, a bit afraid of the 18 wheeler trying to climb the bridge with me, or the kid :smiley6600:  texting his gal pal.  LOL!!  ???  :-\

Avert your eyes, women and children. I heard Baytown Bert will be unveiling his new "Pinochio" tattoo that responds in an inappropriate way when he hears the words "Aaron Barbee".
