what are the craziest caches you've come across or seen in searches?

i don't think i could take powerdog02 to this cache without scaring him for life and requiring therapy as an adult.

Everyone requires therapy as an adult. Anyone who is in denial about this and goes untreated ends up standing out like a sore thumb (see BB's post about meeting lengendary geocachers and how weird some cachers are). What is normal? It's a setting on the washing machine.... :)

I like that one. I might just create the same thing around here somewhere discreet.

normal is a combination of quirks and oddities... too little and you're odd and same with too many.  but stripping down with your mom to go for a cache?  yikes.

Bert it's already been done. Snoogans placed a Terracache where you had to post a tasteful nude picture of yourself with the cache container. It was a locationless so any cache was sufficient whether it be a GC, TC, etc..

There were just so many ways to respond to that....all of them funny to me, but none of them looking like I could come away unscathed after saying them. :notme:

So not to deter folks from the nekkid conversation over there, but...here's some crazy caches...

There is a series called Psycho Urban Caches, here is one:

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Jjmqy0YMlQg

Also...one of the craziest caches I have heard of, that still has NO finds despite being published in 2002, is one hidden by Lord British 1.5 miles below the sea.  He hid it using a Russian submersible, and he alleges people can take ecotours to this and maybe one day someone will actually find it:

Also, our own OHL Hockey Guy is the only cacher to log a find on this other cache by Lord British, hidden on the International Space Station:

Looks like astronaut Rick Mastracchio may be finding it soon.  Watching this TB, which has details.

Well, I certainly hope there is not any "nekkid" conversation going on here.  :o  Naked is enough.  (And there IS a difference between nekkid and naked.  )

Well, I think this was the coolest cache I've ever done, but don't think it can compare to the one originally posted.  Still, if you're ever in Vegas, I recommend giving this one a shot.
