3.5 X 4.5 and man, it ain't nothing to joke about.  We will have a video event August 2nd to nab 4 really bad caches in this forest.  Come prepared or don't come.  On second thought, don't come.  It's not for everyone.  Not even Devil Dogs or Army Colonels..

It is easier to answer all those virtual questions with someone who really knows the area with you.

GC57Z7V   Baytown Bert's Borneo Death March Event!  I will have my Jeep ready for rescue on the pipeline if someone needs to bail out, which is very possible.  Everyone who attends the initial 0800 event will get credit, even if you do not go into the woods for one or all four caches.  Those who have been in these woods will attest to the fact that this is not a leisurely stroll and machetes are recommended, along with 6-8 bottles of water minimum.  I really, really want a couple of EMT/Paramedics at the event also and everyone involved in the hike will need to take electrolyte replacement fluids, etc to make sure you don't drop out in the August heat and humidity.  You want a challenge, this is it!  August 2nd, we leave the parking area here at 0800:  N29 53.784 W094 48.861  All of the caches have been found, so why not wait and go with the group for safety's sake and companionship?

Prime Reviewer wrote:  Events are not intended to be used as cache hunts. As noted in the Guidelines: "An Event Cache should not be set up for the purpose of gathering geocachers for a geocache search."

I changed the wording on it to show that we would all meet up, but he said no, so that's that.

I swear I saw something about the rules being relaxed.  Maybe it was only proposed.  Maybe PR is just a !@%.  In any case, he uses the un-updated knowledge book to fit HIS agenda 100% of the time.  Rules around letterboxes are denied for some and approved for others, both justified within the same rules, for example.  Ok.  I looked and cannot find something and have to pack or I'd spend more time.  But I know I'm not imagining it.
