I'm thinking about archiving A dog's will.

At one time before the freeway was built this portion of the park was pretty nice. Cache was surrounded on all sides by a creek. Unfortunately it's no longer that interesting and it is really far out for me to maintain. Luckily I've only had to do maintenance twice since 2006 when I placed the cache.

I would like to archive the cache since the theme doesn't make sense for adoption. Would anyone be interested in listing a new cache in the same location reusing the container (orange matchstick cylinder)?

Other option would be to adopt the cache out and completely redo the listing maintaining it's age and gc code.

Maybe Popawalker.  He lives in Channelview and has a few caches over that way.

Don't archive it.  Post a note to the cache page and ask if someone wants to adopt it.  Name is fine.  Heck just stating it as adopted is fine.  It will love on in a tribute to your dog as well.

It is out of my way but I definitely think I want to go find it!  Please don't archive...  Like Log Dawgs said maybe if you post a note on it that you want to adopt it out someone will adopt.  I love tributes to our babies.

With it's terrain listing, I went after it several days ago, in shorts and crocs. Gave up, 60 ft from the cache, when surrounded by waist high thorny vines, man-eating mosquitos and temp in the high 90s.

Plan on going back soon, dressed appropriately.

As old as it is, would be a shame to loose it.
