I just noticed that the subject cache was archived.on June 19, 2013.  One of the all time great caches and certainly one of my all time favorites.  Sorry to see it go  :disappoint:

We made a special turn to go do that one before it was archived and glad we did. It is sad to see it go as I believe it was rated 3rd best in the country.

Bamboozle retired, I believe.  I never made it to that one.  Last time I was in NO was pre-Katrina.

I made it there twice. Once by myself and once with the family. He has a neat travel bug hotel by his house in Metairie

I did that cache twice.  Definitely a one-of-a-kind!

I went to the cache on a regular basis, particularly when the View Carre Walk about was held.

Was reading some of Henry's message.  He has been retired for many years and it was kind of the company to allow it to remain as long as it did, but time does move on

I think this makes Bamboozle's Geocoins worth the memories..

We visit some non-caching friends in New Orleans. This is the only cache we have taken them to that impressed them. After several years they still get excited about it. We are sure sorry to see it go.

Here is a picture of a map I did for Bamboozle.  Unfortunately the geocache was closed in this picture but it was truly an inspiring thing just to go through all the trackables in that chest.479828_634450336570692_749364344_n.png

This one was taken in late June when we went for the find. The view from the roof of the building was really nice.

One of Bamboozle's minions perhaps?

We were in NOLA two weeks ago  and I saw that it had been archived.  I had hoped to take the family there even though I already had a find.  It was interesting to look out on NOLA to see the large swaths of green that had recently been housing.  It was very generous of the building owner to permit the cache for so long.
