Hello fellow Geocachers,

We are new to Geocaching and are really enjoying it. It's a family activity for us, and my 4 year old son and 12 year old daughter are having a blast. We recently hid our first cache in Spring, and have themed it as a kid-friendly, beginner's cache.

Please visit Kiki and Karla's Toybox, it is located on Riley Fuzzle at the Spring Creek crossing in the Spring Creek Greenway.

We look forward to participating and one day meeting ya'll.

Regards,

Henry and family

Welcome and what KeyResults said.  The geocaching community is one of the nicest of any sport I've participated in.

It is an obsession indeed. And the biggest fan? My 4 year old son. He wants to go "look for treasures" every day. He knows how to use the iPhone app, scroll and zoom the map, select caches, and log the smiley face. It's getting us out of the house, away from the TV and video games. Mission accomplished.

Welcome and congrats on your first cache.  I see Texas Writer got a rare first to find on it.  Imagine that! :coolsmiley:

Yep. He battled raccoons, opossums and wild hogs to get it.
