So is anyone else counting owner maintenance. I keep having to check on my new series, which have resulted in trips of 2000 - 5000 steps. I decided they should count as it is an integral part of caching.

Go for it.  Caching is not just finding.  Putting caches out and checking them is part of caching.

Your ABC series?  How long does it take to walk?

It's not the walking that's the time killer, but the finding, lol.

I think we decided it is 4 1/2 miles to do the whole thing, parking a car at each end. On a nice day it should be 2 or 3 hours. It is much quicker to bike if you have the technology and then you just need to park on one end and ride back.

I'd love to say I'd meet you as I live in the subdivision adjacent to most the caches, but RL is just killing my caching this year. Let me know if you plan on coming and I can try to come out for a few. :)

I've walked exactly zero feet in February to get a geocache.  Well, maybe 300.

No survey yet, but I walk 15800 steps today.  All caching related.

I had 15 finds, 0 DNF's and went by 2 of my caches for maintenance runs.

Today was a good day!   :peace:

No survey for me either, but I walked 26555 steps today... for 8 smileys and one cache maintenance.  I got to revisit a cache I'd found before called the Four Cache Loop though!

I didn't know I was going to be asked "how many minutes you stayed at each location?"

Yeah, I just took that to mean how long I geocached each day.  Most of my answers were like "480 minutes"...

I won't have an answer for that.  I wish they had sent the survey to start so we'd know what it would take to complete it.  I just kept track of total steps for the day.  When I asked for some clarification, that's what I was told they wanted.

i finally got mine yesterday and filled it out.  like the others... wasn't expecting to be asked about minutes spent caching, or even how often i did anything else or ages of people with me.  making more notes on my caches.
