The "quote art" is pretty amusing, but seriously (I know, bad word) how do you quote someone's post that has a bunch of quotes in it without including all of them?  Some day, probably in the far distant future, I hope I get to stop saying "how do you"!  ???

Every quote starts with an "opening quote(symbol actually used) quote author=AUTHOR link=topic closed quote(symbol actually used)" and then has the author's text and then ends with "opening quote (symbol actually used) /quote closed quote (symbol actually used)"    Get rid of the quote author section that you are not wanting to quote, their text, and the ending quote section.

FTFC52 - Depth Perception

OK, where do I begin...

I went out yesterday to put out the replacement final and decided to check on my note I left last weekend, asking for the folks who muggled the cache to call me.  It was still there...and unmuggled.  Strange.

At the former GZ, I checked around again, hoping to see signs of the cache.  Looking in the middle of the creek, I see a large square object under the water. Could it be?

This may be TMI, but I end up stripping to my whitey-tighties, waded in, and snagged the cache.  With trembing hands, I opened up the lid....Yes!  It's completely intact and the trophy is still there!  A huge wave of relief washes over me and I begin to sob uncontrollably. OK, that didn't happen, but I was pretty happy that everything was OK.

So, one of 2 things occurred; (1) my cache mechanism failed (likely) and it was not muggled at all, or (2) muggles did cut the cord, opened it up and decided just to dump it because they felt bad (this seems less likely).

Bottom line:  The final has been moved to a new location not far from the original, but much less likely to muggled.  I have the trophy, so the FTF'er will need to contact me to arrange a drop.

For those who have made it to the first waypoint, your hunt is not impacted.  You still need to find WP2 whose coordinates are hidden in the 2nd puzzle...somehow.

It's good to go!

Sorry for putting you all through this.

That's great!  I know I would have felt just as you did, justified or not.  From all the posts I think everyone shared your concern so I don't think you need to apologize for "putting everyone through this".  Hgcs seems like (for the most part) a very caring family who shared shared your angst.  Glad all is well again.

Here's an FTF opportunity for an earthcache created over 7 months ago. Near Flaming Gorge, can't imagine why no one has gone for it.

Yeah, we were there the other day, sitting around watching the tumbleweeds and saying to ourselves that we ought to log it.....  :D ::)

That is odd, though, that no one's been there yet.....

My hat off to FREYMAN, he trampled through _ell and high water today to FTF my Grandson's first hide "Ronald McDonalds PLAYHOUSE". Plus he found the only :D sticker bush I forgot to bushwack, HaHa. Grandson picked his caching name "Grim Cacher" after watching a Grim Reaper carton, go figure. Second to find prize still waiting, get them waders and snake proof boots out and go for it.......
