N CLAPS is open and open in a big way. Highly recommend you come paddle this beautiful section before the evil water hyacinth takes over again. 1 - 18 (all but Big Island Slough) have been maintained and are in great shape, most with new logs, etc.[/t-quote]

That would be very, very cool. And God knows, they'd have enough to eat. But for them hyacinth is probably like lima beans and only 1 out of 1000 likes it.

But can you imagine paddling with manatees? That would rock.

For those of us who were busy shuttling a five-year-old to a rescheduled soccer game, I hope to paddle the same section this month before it all becomes overgrown again. Appreciate the maintenence!
