Flamingos are not the image we want to project. We need a classy, even regal bird to portray the status of our team. How about that great bird the peacock? Colorful, with a wide palette to chose from to meet all fashion needs.

Hmmm. Since we won (that's nice to say, y'know) I don't think we need to think about intimidating the competition with our FlaminGator. I'm perfectly fine with pink (even though my bandana disappeared somewhere in the bush in Area 3).

I really like the idea of a team T-shirt.

Tealcat suggests a pink 'gator (but doesn't think it matters--"just pick one and make team T-shirts"). The eldest Normette suggests a pink Honey Badger.

Gator...representative of SETX. How many times are we warned about *gators* at every park we go to in SETX.

Hey, we can do a gator, coming out of the water, ready to eat a pirate, t-shirt!!

I did not know where the flamingo came from, but now that I know Snoogans was the mastermind...well that explains everything. I remember when we did the Texas Challenge in San Angelo and everyone wore the pink bandana's. Later, South Texas and Central Texas stated they could see us a mile away so they knew where to run to get the TCchallenge cache..thank goodness tho we were *Kick Ass Flamingos!*

The Pink Flamingo is not intimidating!
That's the way to play it. That way the other teams underestimate the "power of pink"

Humm... thinking the alligator that ate Captain hook's hand would be an option. ;-)

SETX Gator Gang? "chomp chomp" or may "tick tock" if we get the peter pan (like) alligator artwork

Puts a nice new spin on the whole "ARGGGGHHH" thing when the gator just ate the pirates hand.

Personally I am liking the Peter Pan gator idea.

What are the mascots for the other regions?

Ooooo....a gator in a ninja outfit. The first time you use the logo to make a smooth transition, he could have a hapless flamingo dangling from his mouth. Oh the possibilities!

I know, that is why I am thinking the Peter Pan Gator would be so perfect. The whole eating hook's hand and all...

I think South mascot is a shark and Central mascot is an armadillo.

We personally like the Pink Flamingo mascot but not necessarily the one shown above this post.
