Same goes for me.  I registered for 2 tents, but it's been my experience they don't enforce it if there are 3 or 4.

Could Catwoman10 and I split some dirt with you? We'd split the cost of the campsite with you, of course.  :)

I've just got the one tent, so I am sure we have space available, too, if anyone would like to share.

I have my site at Prairie-Branch also.  I still don't know If I'll be able to make it but there is dirt to share since I won't cancel if anyone needs some space.  It sounds like we have plenty of ground.  The 8 person limit is simply the number you can put on a site without paying more.  The sites on that loop vary in size, but if we get several together we should be able to pack the tents in pretty well.  Party.

Awesome! Thanks so much! How do we make it happen? Haha. Do we need some sort of number or your name when we get there, or something?

I just booked a tent space in the Prairie Branch site for Catwoman10 and myself. We may have other friends come with us. There is only 1 reservable space left in Prairie Branch. :D Can't wait to meet everyone!

I always fly the Texas and USA flag at my campsite.  It's one of the first things I do, so look for it.  I sure hope there isn't a burn ban, but carrying firewood in my limited space is always a big problem for me, as is burnbans - see the videos:

Seriouly, the SETX mascot is the pink flamingo -- that's how you find each other.

There is even a pathtag!

Seriously?  Am I being played for a chump here, or do I need to go get one?

...or just go to the "Search" function on this board and type in "flamingo" and see how many hits you get!  O0

What really won it for us last year, was the hot pink scarfs that georeynozos "made" us wear.

YUP, the Pink Flamingo has been the SETX Mascot for around 6 years now. Michelle ( smarter half of Cherokeecacher) and Francis(USMorrows) had the idea for the 3rd Texas Challenge as an easy way for SETX Teammates to find each other AND, for the first year, drive the other teams NUTS trying to figure out what they meant. IT WORKED ;D
