I just had the BEST present EVER.... an early morning phone call from Brandon. He loves all of his presents and is missing us terribly but surviving! God truly is wonderful and I am blessed.

Merry Christmas, now where's the coffee!!

Well, we had a good time unwrapping presents with Joel last night, and we were just about finished when he said he had to leave right away because there was a nearby mortar attack.  It took a while to hear from him again, but he is OK.  Thanks to Facebook, we know that the mortars hit about 100 meters from his housing unit, and destroyed a bunker, but no casualties.

He had been joking about a Christmas mortar attack, and he would pretend it was really loud reindeer on the roof.  Little did he know!

We have one more thing to be grateful for!

Still trying to figure out  don't like this new forum style.
