I think you ought to run it twice a day. Might as well do something when you're doing nothing. :)

But most won't have anything till after the 30 +/- days with no response from CO.  I'd run it again Mid October and think you'll see major changes.  Even from the October report.

I drop them from the list as soon as they are disabled or archived, so the effect will be immediate.  It makes it a little tricky having to check for caches that are re-enabled from time-to-time (rare), but caches disabled by the CO can remain disabled for 6-8 months before PR archives them and I don't want those staying on the list that long.

Does the "Longest Since Last Find" include caches that have never been found? :stirpot:

I know, for example, that there is one close to Nov64's stomping ground that apparently has pretty lousy coordinates that was put out in January (so it won't yet have made the list).

If you're referring to "In Memory" (GC4B19G), it got archived Monday.

Okay, gotcha. That's one of four caches (three others just like it) that have been submitted to PR for disable/archive.

That's good to know.  But I am still curious about whether it would make the list if it had hung around long enough (and been close enough to Houston).

Aaaaaand Pipe Dream just got archived for never being a valid cache. The Lone Pine got disabled. One more to go....let's see if he ices that one, too....

To answer your question, they would make the list when they turn two years old.  For example, This Cache would be on the list if it were within 50 miles of Houston.

I find it weird that there's not even any notes posted in that cache. Usually somebody would have posted something there.

I found this one it had been 8 years and three months since last find. Of course it got replaced by the cache owner not that long before I found it but there was enough of a container that I could have claimed a find anyway.http://coord.info/GCMM45

Much appreciated. :fist-pump:

Also good to know that those really bad hides are going away. :stirpot:

Well, the cache mentioned above would no longer make the list (if it were within 50 miles of Houston).  Mudfrog found it today!  http://coord.info/GLC9VXQ2

I enjoyed reading his story; maybe someday I'll be as adventurous to head out for a 2009, never found, cache.

Until then, I can just keep my "Wayne's World - I'm not worthy" hand/bow in awe of his effort!  O0

Great.  I've been waiting for a more recent find, before I try that one.  Now, I have to wait for the ground to dry up a bit.....
