MTP1K-Bonus has been archived and revived as a standalone cache since it some of the series was no longer available.  It can be taken off of the list.

Lake Conroe PWC Tour #2 GCPNCQ - last found on 1/18/06 by silverado rocket.
Sugar Land Safari GCGA9N - last found on 1/21/06 by Warthog12.
Transit of Venus GCJMXW - last found on 2/4/06 by GrangerFam.
The Elder Futhark GCRMR9 - last found on 2/4/06 by MedTexPlacer.
Near The Forgotten GCN5X3 - last found on 2/4/06 by MedTexPlacer with 2 DNF's since then.
Far Side GCM9JV - last found on 2/5/06 by GrangerFam.
Four Wheel Power GC5D16 - last found on 2/5/06 by tplasek.
S-16 GCPE5T last found on 2/11/06 by GrangerFam, with 3 DNF's since.
Rustic Country Home GCP90Y - last found on 2/12/06 by bilster.
FTFC #16 - mtp 2nd Anniversary GCRKVQ - last found on 2/14/06 by basenola, with 4 DNF's since then.
The Big Lebowski GCT95M last found (and FTF!) on 2/18/06 by MedTexPlacer.
San Luis Surf and Cache GCGJHF - last found on 2/19/06 by AmaznGrace, with 4 DNF's since then.  Reading the logs, this one is in all likelihood a goner.

Now off the list:
Thorolfur's Treasure GCM9VJ was found be me on Feb 8th, and by my stalker WTT-B2 on Feb 9th.  It had gone unfound for almost 22 months!
SOS RELAY GCMQR5 was found by WTT-B2 Feb 22nd, after a 13 month lull.
Movie Mania GCT33E was found on Feb 17th by EBandM after eluding local cachers for 13 months.  (OK, it also eluded the cache owner who had to place a new container)

Since the last update, the following caches on the list have been archived:
MTP1K: Bonus GCRM1P - last found on 12/22/05 by MedTexPlacer.

A couple of observations:  My list is getting longer, which I'm sure is a result of more and more caches being added to the database.  I'm now looking at caches placed since the beginning of time, through the end of February 2006, which is 87 more caches than I looked at last month.

A number of the long-unfound caches seem to be Piman caches, and the last finder was either GrangerFam or MedTexPlacer. :)

Cache on!

We tried to go after the Big Lebowski, but we realized after we got home with a DNF that we had the wrong coordinates.  It's one of those caches that always seems to be just out of the main cluster of caches, so it took us a long time to get to it.  I wonder how long it will take us to get back to try again.

I see most of the caches on the list are puzzle caches.  Most puzzle caches get found by a few people that do puzzle caches and then don't get found again because a majority of the cachers really don't do puzzle caches.  Piman314's caches are great, but because he's so far west, he has those not getting to the area and those not doing puzzles against him.  We on the other hand usually make his caches a priority to do, although I think we still have one outstanding cache of his to go after.  We've just been super busy and haven't gotten to do a lot of caching.

I gotta agree with the MB's here.  Fortunately for me, I live west so piman's caches are close by.

Mexico???  I must have missed something.  I haven't been paying too much attention to what's been popping up, but Mexico wouldn't have been on my radar.

Okay, then there's at least 2 and there will most likely be 1 for a long time.

Way to go!  I have the coords for that one, so it's nice to know it's still findable.  (At the risk of eventually having my log deleted, I won't say how I got the coordinates! :o)
