HC, was playing with prime membership features and thinking I might have found a process that could be easier for you.  Rather than loading 5000 caches in GSAK, the GC.com website has the ability to sort by last find.  If you set your search to downtown (or where ever you normally search from) and sort the by last find youngest to oldest, you could then just download the list to a GPX (OK a couple of GPX).  Then you could upload those GPX into GSAK and use it to run comparisons, or filter out inactive, or whatever.  Just a thought.

I don't.  And I understand that what I am proposing is merely a theory.  HC had just proposed the possibility of have to cut the list down to 2 years because the number of caches was more than he could pocket query in a single day.  I was trying to trouble shoot a way around his proposed problem.

Can we move this interesting philosophical discussion to and potential hijacking to Longest Since Last Find - What to do with it?

And save this thread for discussions of the LSLF list???

Pretty please.  :-\

That one cache has been on the list twice now?  Must either be a tough hide, or be in a less that frequently traveled part of town.

A little of both.  It's way out in the sticks with no easily visible means of access.  At least no visible access that doesn't involve driving down someone's driveway past big No Trespassing signs.  :o

When I did it I parked no the public road and bushwhacked (really, not THAT much of a bushwhack) to an open clearing which I'm sure was private property but no NO TRESPASSING signs in the thick trees.  ;)

Then, I walked down some public access-type road to another dense area of trees/foliage/stickers.  The four pictures on my find log are a four-directional view of a "clearing" I was at before heading back into a third set of dense trees.

Geesh, some people just seem to enjoy putting us cachers through the wringer!  :crazy2:

Other changes since the last update

DOELOE GCRZ69 was temporarily disabled by PR.
Decimal Degrees GCWJB0 was archived by the owner.
THANKS AGAIN JOE GC1G14Q was archived by the owner.
Thanksgiving Pie GCRDP4 was temporarily disabled by PR.
Pasadena Memorial Park GC10PM1 was archived by the owner.

By popular demand, I'll continue to generate this list each month just as I have in the past. I was happy to see quite a few caches make the list this month with zero, one, or two DNF's since the last time they were found. I reserve the right to extend the time frame out to two years if the list ever reaches 100 caches.

Be sure to check out the Bookmarked List of these caches.

Memories...this is the cache where I broke my leg last year. I had already found it and was just taking a few geofriends to get it, when a rabbit hole grabbed me and took over 12 weeks of my life. Good times not good times... :uglystupid2:
