Hopefully my numbers will pick up now that I am back in town.  I have been suffering from cache deprivation.

O0 Welcome back, we have missed seeing all of the FTF's for RER!!  :)

Well I use to try to get a 1000 a year, but now that I'm back being a TX girl that's changed a bit.  It's changed for the good causw now a cache placer girl for the county I live in.  The only goal I have set for now is being in the top 250 places on this cache adventure game. http://www.thecachin...m/freegames.htm oh and hitting 3000 before I go to back to WA for a week in January.

HAHA, and they're so quick they are almost halfway to the next one by the time we can congratulate.  Talk about movin and shakin.  Congrats again guys, let me know if you make any long distance caching trips and want company.

We always like company.  The road trip was fun and we'd like to do more of them.

Hmmm, I would really love to go myself, but I just took the call and I will be offshore by tomorrow night.  Maybe in a couple weeks.  By then I will need to go to Austin if I am to find 100 by the end of next month.  Hope to catch up with you then, have fun guys.

Thanks! ::)  I've knocked out 48 caches so far this month, including an event cache and an earthcache  ...plus a couple of Terracaches, I think.  You gotta love this cooler, made-for-caching weather! O0 O0

Ditto.

As long as this weather stays nice, we're going to try to catch up with you.  I love this time of weather to cache.  It really helps with the numbers.  I hope to come out to Alvin soon to help boost my numbers with Pepper caches.

Recently, I saw a posting somewhere that  FULL HOUSE 5  got their 100th find.

It is difficult to catch when a cacher reaches their 100th find but I try my best to catch them just by reading their logs.  Can't catch everyone.

Just out of curiosity, what is your method for accumulating your stats?

For MILESTONES, mostly I use the Grand High Pobah for Texas and check the current counts except for MUSTARD DEVIL who is listed in Tennessee along with some others.
Some times, I miss a person.  I look for counts nearing a milestone (every 100) or just above a milestone ranging from 10-12 below to 10-12 above.

Opps - I just remembered, I went over the 400 mark at the Thanksgiving Event.  Thanks MB for helping me get that 400 milestone.

For counts 200 and below, I read some of  the logs by the cacher and take note.  Its a hit and miss affair.

For FIRST TO FIND  -  I keep track by hand of new caches within a 40-45 mile range of Houston and keep watch on them.

For my PARKERPLUS CACHES,  I keep a running track/list of my caches and who has found them (34 selected cachers so far) on paper and put a check mark when one of them logs one in.

For TOP CACHERS OF THE MONTH,  I used to keep track by hand on all caches (by 10-12 user names on GC and GC Watchlist) ranging about 42 miles from downtown, but now I asked THOT to develop a program to do it for me.  It seems to be working pretty much okay.  That reminds me, I got to contact THOT/Jim

Sometime down the road, I'll show you my notebook

Parkerplus,
I just want to thank you for these lists. Not only do I aspire to be on the list (one way or the other), I am now gearing my cache finds TO the list. My project I am working on now is to get all of YOUR caches and make that list.

Once again, Thanks for all you do.

How could I miss MUDDY BUDDIES and their quest for numbers.  Stan and Kathy reached their 1700th find over the weekend plus completing the COINQUEST game.  I just couldn't keep up with them.   I don't know where they stand on TC

Still  CONGRATULATIONS
