Wow!  It took me 6 years to get to 4000.  Go, TexasWriter!

Yep, 4K in 10 months. And, while there’s some WACO in there, there’s no ET Highway in that 4K either.

I suspect there's not much of anything else in there either!   TexasWriter wouldn't happen to be a Taoist Monk would he?   :2funny:   Congrats Brian!

It takes one crazy person to recognize another crazy person.

I hit 4K at 10 months as well. however it was due to 2700 in a week out west doing the ET Hwy and Route 66 series.    4K in ten months is insane!

It took me another 8 months to hit 5K.

I have 214 FTF's which is 2/3 of this crazy man.

I have 160 hides which he almost caught me on that as well.

If 2011 was the year of the Dawg at the HGCS awards then 2012 is definitely the year of the Writer!

Congratulations to a good friend on hitting 4K.  Way to go TexasWriter.  I may just have to start caching in my sleep to keep up with this man.

I'm very delinqent in saying thank you to KeyResults for such a nice write-up (almost left me speechless, which is nearly impossible...lol) and to everyone else for their comments. I haven't been on the board for a couple of months as CornDoll and I have been buying and selling houses, getting married, and merging two households of three into one household of six. It's been quite the undertaking. Somewhere in there we were also doing the Month of Multi's and Month of Mysteries in February (being the opportunist, a month with only 28 days looked pretty attractive :coolsmiley: ), keeping our cache-a-day streaks going, and I've been knocking my D/T grid down to just two stubborn ones left. I look forward to getting back into the game full steam and working on another large series I want to put out. Been gathering supplies and scheming for a few months now. Coming soon to a theater near you.... :knuppel2:

Once again, thank you everyone. It's awewsome to be a member of such a great caching community. Makes me wonder if other areas are as fantastic as SETX....

We only came over to hand the Goatman his hind end. :coolsmiley:  Oh yeah, and to leverage the new series of multi's that HC put out. There's that opportunist thing again...

Remember, I'm CornDoll's "trained spider monkey" that she refers to in her logs.

Remind me to tell you sometime about catching a runaway monkey in the parking lot of US Toy by Willowbrook Mall almost a year and a half ago. True story...got pics to prove it. Had only been dating CornDoll a little while at that point, so it was a good introduction to just what she'd gotten herself into. Lol
