Congratulations to Kirbydox and Muddy Buddies!

It hardly seems worth mentioning when compared to 15,000 finds but we reached 700 finds this past weekend. Mosty due to the my husbands determination.

Every milestone that one celebrates is important.  Congratulations!

CONGRATULATIONS are in order for MUSTARD DEVIL for reaching the 1700 caches found.  After all, it took him 12 years to reach it.  Now on to the next milestone.  Keep after it.

He grabbed FTF on my new multi the other day.  Glad to see him back at it.

TEXAS WRITER HITS 4000!

Please join me congratulating our NW Houston geoCaching star TexasWriter who has just hit 4,000 in his 10th month as a Geocacher! (Whaat!). Yep, 4K in 10 months. And, while there’s some WACO in there, there’s no ET Highway in that 4K either.

If that's not mind boggling enough:

  • he's approaching 300 FTF's
  • at last count has hidden nearly 140 excellent geocaches including several nominated for the 2012 Houston Geocaching Awards such as the Warriors Series
  • His D/T chart is very nearly complete
  • He is nine months into his cache a day for a year challenge

Brian has no plans to slow down in any facet either! He is not only a prolific Geocacher, but he's an example of a true good sportsman, custodian, and steward of the game. Brian never hesitates to step up and perform a field repair or replacement without even blinking an eye (especially now that each new one is more precious in his home area :)

On a personal note, I truly enjoy his challenging and creative hides, his willingness to help anybody, anytime, anywhere! I know many people who have benefitted from his acquaintance. His soon to be bride, CornDoll, by no means a geocaching slouch her own self, will be celebrating their nuptials privately betwixt all the geocaching "fun" - yet I have no doubt whatsoever that, somehow, there will be a smiley in it for us all.

If there were a model for a geocaching MVP, he certainly would fit the bill. Not just because of the big numbers in a short time, but for the complete player and human he exemplifies while playing the game.

Well done TexasWriter (and well done CornDoll for enabling him...willingly...at least most of the time! )
